Tips

-Purchase protein servings (shrimp, chicken breast, crab, fish) and, instead of putting in the freezer in big quantities, divide the portions into the prescribed 100 gram servings, then freeze in individual size servings. Note: Some participants take this one step further and actually cook the protein before freezing so that it can just be reheated or put on a salad before eating.

-Each morning (or the night before) pick two different proteins for the upcoming day and move them to the refrigerator to thaw. Thawing won’t take long and cooking only takes a couple of minutes on the George Foreman grill.

-A George foreman grill can be handy. Most allowable white fish can be quite good on the foreman grill with some seasoning salt, sea salt, and a healthy squirt of lemon. If you use sweet, Vidalia onions for you vegetable and throw them on the top and bottom of the meat on the grill, both the meat and onions are great!

-Dressing for lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, cabbage/slaw: 1/3 c apple cider vinegar, 2/3 c water, sweeten with stevia.

-Lean hamburger with some tomatoes heated and stirred with a little stevia tastes similar to sloppy joe or spaghetti sauce- quite good for a change.

-Fresh squeezed lemonade...you get the juice of one lemon to use each day. Add stevia for sweetness.

-Go to our recipe tab for ideas on what to make to mix up your daily meals.

-Add more teas to your diet. Some teas cleanse the body, some increase your metabolism, and some just taste like a treat.

-Weigh yourself daily, preferably undressed in the morning.

-Eliminating the Melba Toast may reduce hunger and speed up weight loss.

-Injections must be kept in the refrigerator and should be given at the same time of day.  It does not matter if it is morning or night time, just try to be consistent.

-If you experience a headache, you may use any pain reliever that you are accustomed to and call the clinic if headaches persists.
